Mathematics Co-ordinator – Anvita Matilal

Anvita is the joint Mathematics Co-ordinator with Patrick Finch-Noyes, and with him administers the Mathematics Workshops.  She teaches students for a very wide range of levels and qualifications at our study centre 97a, St Aldate’s Street.

Anvita received her B.Sc. (with Honours) in Mathematics and Physics from Oxford Brookes University.  Her passion for Mathematics took her to Imperial College, University of London from where she graduated with an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics.

Anvita worked as a computer consultant for nine years and then decided to pursue a career in teaching, and returned to Oxford Brookes University, earning her PGCE in Secondary Mathematics.  She has been employed as a teacher of Secondary Mathematics at The Cherwell School in Oxford and has worked as a tutor in Mathematics at Greene’s since 2009.
