Simon is currently undertaking a D.Phil. in Regenerative Medicine at Oxford University, focusing on the immunology of stem cell therapies. He previously earned his M.Sc. in Pharmacology as well as a B.Sc. in Biochemistry. Simon serves as the Junior Dean of St. Hilda’s College and actively takes part in teaching medical students and biological science students at various colleges. In describing his passion for his research, Simon says, ‘Stem cell therapies offer the possibility that one day, we may be able to treat and potentially cure diseases which, at present, have little or no treatment options. It is on the cutting edge of medical research’.
