Xiao

Xiao is a D.Phil. student in Biomedical Engineering at Oxford University.  Her research focuses on tissue engineering for anti-cancer drug development.  Before coming to Oxford, Xiao spent six years at the medical school of Peking University, studying chemistry, biomedical theories, and pharmaceutical sciences.  Whilst in medical school, Xiao found that one of the biggest needs in pharmaceutical development is for better testing models for potential drugs.  Her passion for medicine and for working towards more effective treatments of diseases led her to Oxford to research novel testing models for anti-cancer drugs.  At Greene’s, she specialises in teaching Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Chinese.
