We can help students, whether full- or part-time, with all aspects of their application to universities, both to this country and abroad. We advise on the choice of university and course, guiding the applicant through the process of completing the various forms and personal statements, and preparing students to meet the specific entry requirements of their chosen university. Guidance on choice of subjects or specific university or college courses is always available for students wishing to follow a chosen career.

Oxbridge

We are particularly well-placed to assist those applying to Oxford or Cambridge universities. Depending on the decisions made, students are then prepared by appropriate Oxford tutors both for their college interviews and for any accompanying written tests.

Advice on universities and the application procedure is available without charge for those on our Academic Support Programme. For those taking the tuition only (INSERTLINK) option, we are happy to arrange an additional consultation. Please see our Fees and Services.

Retaking

Part of your strategy to achieve your career or university objectives may be to retake examinations. If students need to improve on results, we offer a university college-style environment in which to retake and prepare for further education. Whether retaking examinations over a year or following a short intensive course, we give students every opportunity to improve academically and to develop habits of independent study crucial at university.

Depending on the starting point, an improvement of two grades in a few months is not uncommon. While we concentrate on a student’s acquisition and presentation of knowledge, attention is always paid to examination techniques and essay writing skills. We are happy to advise on the decisions you may need to take with regard to retaking.
