Supplementary Tuition
Many students, at school or college locally, come to Greene’s for supplementary help. You choose the frequency and times of these tutorials but a typical pattern would take the form of one or two weekly tutorials, after school and over several months. Most students will have an hour a week per subject, which enables them to consolidate what they are doing in their full-time courses.
One of the advantages of this longer-term approach to revision is that students can help to avoid last-minute panic. Students may prefer to spread the tutorial hours over several weeks rather than cover the work in a short, intensive Holiday Revision or Last-minute Revision a few weeks before the examinations.
Problems such as difficulties with written expression or structuring of essays are probably best tackled over a longer, less intense period. You can also realistically assess gaps and consolidate your knowledge as you progress through you course.
As with all our teaching, individual tuition allows for a wholly tailored course, concentrating on your particular concerns and focusing on the requirements of each examination board and syllabus.
