Greene’s supports both British and international students in their applications to U.S. universities. We offer our students assistance with American applications as follows:

Individual advice

Tutorials with our American university admissions tutors include advice on:

• how to use the Common Application procedure
• writing and editing your Personal Statement
• how to obtain the most advantageous reference
• the best strategy for the Early or Regular Decision route
• presenting you, the applicant, as a well-rounded candidate

Individual tuition

Tutorials with our specialist SAT tutors provide:

• individual tuition in Mathematics, Critical Reading, Writing
• individual tuition in SAT II (Subject Tests)
• teaching of SAT test-taking strategy
• personalised revision on topics that may be unfamiliar to British students
• flexible hours to suit your timetable

SAT preparation courses

Our SAT course takes place at our premises in central Oxford and at schools across the country.  The course includes:

• 16 hours of intensive teaching
• workbooks unique to the Greene’s SAT course and an essential vocabulary list
• pre- and post-course SAT diagnostic tests
• individual Greene’s Online reports after every seminar
• a final report summarising grades and target scores for a range of U.S. universities
• trained and specialist tutors for each section of the course

SAT practice tests

Each practice SAT examination includes:

• timed invigilation for each section
• graded examination followed by a personalised report
• specialised essay-writing section feedback
• a score comparison report with average U.S. university applicants’ SAT scores
• suggestions for further improvement
