Greene’s signs Friendship Agreement with Hefei No. 6 College, A level Centre
Greene’s has signed a Friendship Agreement with Hefei No. 6 College, A level Centre.
Hefei is the capital and largest city of Anhui Province in China. A prefecture-level city, Hefei is the political, economic, and cultural centre of Anhui.
The partnership with Hefei No. 6 College, A level Centre will allow us to work together on a number of projects and for students at Greene’s and the Hefei No. 6 College, A level Centre to exchange ideas, learn together and visit each other.
In this way students at Greene’s are able to experience A level tuition in a Chinese educational environment. They can also learn Mandarin!
Teaching at Hefei No. 6 College, A level Centre is in English and A levels follow the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curricula. Greene’s is also a CIE accredited examination centre.
Christopher Upton, Managing Director of Greene’s comments that, “the common A level curricula between Greene’s and Hefei No. 6 College means that our students can really have meaningful exchanges and work together on common projects.”
Looking forward, Greene’s sees plenty of opportunity for cultural and educational exchange. Expertise from Greene’s will be used to install state-of-the-art online learning facilities and to provide students at Hefei No. 6 with advice on preparation for UK university entrance. Online learning will also provide access for students in Hefei to Greene’s world class network of Oxford based tutors. “This is all quite exciting, and we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.” (Christopher Upton)
