University destinations 2018

Excellent A level grades and University destination results are almost all in…

Many congratulations to all the Greene’s students for their A level grades and who are now heading off to their chosen universities.

Congratulations and wishes of good luck to Bella and Ilaeira who are both going to Cambridge to study English Literature; to Hannah for her place at Oxford to study Biochemistry; and to Ilaria who is also going to Oxford but to study Chemistry.  With six A* and six A grades between these four students, two of these places also came from students deciding to retake their A levels – a particular achievement showing great determination.

On the medical front, congratulations to Vincent for his straight A*AA grade result and who is going to Sheffield to study Medicine; and Sarah and Aaron who are taking degree courses in Biomedical Sciences at Queen Mary and UEA respectively.

Annabel, Ben, Bertie, Jack and Silvia are all going north to Newcastle to study a wide range of degree subjects in Business Management, Earth Sciences, Economics, Geography and Sports Science.

Earth Sciences (Geoscience) is a particular speciality at Greene’s and with fieldwork combined with top results in Geology and Mathematics Ben is well prepared for his degree course in Earth Sciences.

Also in the North, Jasmine will be using her two A* grades to help her with her Film and Media degree at Leeds; and Sean will be taking up his place to study Engineering at Northumbria; whilst Matt will have the help of his A* result for his studies of Ancient History at Durham.  Also with an A* result is Emily, who is taking a degree in Psychology at Keele.

Good luck to Jonathan who is going to Loughborough; also to study Engineering.

Best wishes to Eleanor and Maddy who are heading to start their university careers in London – Eleanor at UCL and Maddy at Roehampton.

Ralph is going west to Wales to start a degree course in History at Cardiff; and, also in the west, good luck to Nick and Tara who are going to start their degree courses in Bath and Bristol respectively.

Sergey will be staying in Oxford starting his course at Oxford Brookes – we hope he will be able to come and see us from time to time with all his news.

Much further afield; best wishes and congratulations to Jess and Aishwarya who are going to study at university in the United States following courses at Arizona State and Rutgers (NY).
