Position description:

Greene’s is non-selective, and enrols students with a broad range of backgrounds, previous educational experiences & interests. Our commitment to the tutorial method of learning means that each student is taught individually or in shared tutorials by tutors who are committed to realising their academic potential.

The Registrar is responsible for the admissions process from the initial enquiry until the student joins the College. He/She will be the first point of contact for both students & parents and will provide high quality administrative support.

Working in a small team, the Registrar will demonstrate a proactive, ‘can do’ approach and fit well into a demanding environment with an international dimension. As Greene’s develops, there will be changes in the emphasis of duties. The Registrar will display a flexible attitude towards tasks & working hours and adapt to meet the shifting dynamics of the workplace.

Extensive support is provided by the College Principal and generally from academic and other staff as part of the admissions process.

General responsibilities:

  • Student admissions

  • Student support (student committee, university applications, accommodation…)

  • Providing a “frontline” personalised service with regard to telephone and e-mail queries
