Geoscience Open Day: Sunday, 12th March, University College, Oxford.

An open and free event for parents and prospective students interested in knowing more about studying Geoscience.  To understand better our Earth: its history, its resources and limitations.

The Greene’s Geoscience Diploma course is a unique liberal arts approach to the study of our planet. It can be an alternative to A level study and allows for admission to a number of undergraduate level degree programmes at the University of Birmingham.

At this event there are exhibits and presentations where you can see and talk about A level study for university entrance; and the new Geoscience Diploma – with fieldwork in the Azores, the U.K. and Oman.

You can find more information about Geoscience and the Greene’s Geoscience Diploma on our website.

There are two sessions – a morning session from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and an afternoon session from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

University College, High Street, Oxford, OX1 4BH

Our Geoscience Open Day is being held at University College in the centre of Oxford.  We will be using the Alington room for refreshments and presentations and the Butler room for exhibits and place to talk and mingle.  The two rooms are next to each other and can be found at the back of the main quadrangle to the right of the college chapel.
