Summer 2018 courses at Greene's

Applications are now open for the Greene’s 2018 Geoscience summer courses with three options in July; and for our UKCAT preparation course on Sunday, 10th June 2018.

Our summer Geoscience one week short-course is a hands-on, intensive, fast-moving introduction to Geoscience. If you are interested in the origins of the earth, its formation, structure and evolution, this course is for you. If you are thinking of a career in Geoscience at university and beyond – or are just simply curious about the subject, join our Geoscience summer course to find out more.  There are three course date options in July to chose from.  The course is taught by Dr Alexander Mitlehner who has over 20 years of experience in teaching a wide range of Geoscience topics and has a wealth of practical and commercial experience.

The Greene’s UKCAT course is a one-day, interactive and intensive introduction to the UKCAT (the U.K. Clinical Aptitude Test).  It is a course designed to help students negotiate with greater confidence all the sections of the UKCAT (quantitative, abstract and verbal reasoning, and the situational judgement and decision making sections).  You have the opportunity to practise and develop the skills and strategies you require to approach the various sections, guided by a highly experienced and practised test-taker who has been teaching for Greene’s for ten years, and who is now a qualified doctor and medical school interviewer.  Learn not only what to expect in the UKCAT, but also what medical schools are looking for in successful applicants.
