Summer 2021 examinations

Following the U.K. government's announcement that summer 2021 examination papers will be cancelled Greene's intends to offer candidates the chance to receive centre-assessed examination grades this for the summer 2021 examination series.

Why Greene’s

Greene’s is Oxford’s oldest tutorial college and one of the country’s largest open-access examination centres.  Each year many hundreds of candidates take their examinations with Greene’s. In summer 2020 Greene’s was one of only a handful of examination centres authorised by the U.K. government as well as international examination boards to provide centre-assessed grades for private candidates whose existing centres were unable to provide grades for them.  We assisted many hundreds of candidates to receive grades and take pride in supporting all of our candidates at every step of the way.

Which examinations does this apply to?

As of now we know this applies to the JCQ boards (OCR, Edexcel, AQA, WJEC, Eduqas) for GCSE, IGCSE and A level.  CAIE and Pearson International have yet to confirm what is happening to their examinations.

How will it work?

The examinations boards are currently in discussions with Ofqual and the Department of Education to determine how the process will work.  Once we have more information we will post it here and send out information to our summer 2021 exams info mailing list.  You can sign up for this here.
